Download SWOT data

General

The SWOT mapping application allows you to make a download request for the SWOT nesting / telemetry data currently shown on the map based on your criteria. Since the use of SWOT nesting data requires an approval by the SWOT Science Advisory Board (SAB), you cannot download the data immedeately from the SWOT mapping application. Instead, you get through the download wizard and fill in the form with your contact information and prospectus to make a download request. You will be requested to submit a filled-in Data Request Form that can be downloaded at the end of the download wizard by clicking [Download Request Form] button (you don't need to click [Start Download] button at the bottom of the Download wiard window). The request is recieved by the SWOT data manager and the manager soon consults with you for details.

For the other relevant data/layers listed below, you can immedeately download them at the end of the download wizard by clicking [Start Download] button at the bottom of the wizard window:

In either case, you have to carefully read and agree on the SWOT Terms of Use and/or OBIS-SEAMAP Terms of Use.

Note The SWOT nesting data and the OBIS-SEAMAP observation data are handled separately when it comes to downloading. When you download the SWOT nesting data (making a request and getting a download file later), it does not include the OBIS-SEAMAP data even if you saw them on the map.
