In accordance with OBIS's, our parant node's, change of its key part of the name from Biogeographic to Biodiversity, OBIS-SEAMAP is now called Ocean Biodiversity Information System Spatial Ecological Analysis of Megavertebrate Populations.
This change reflects more important roles of OBIS and its regional/thematic nodes including OBIS-SEAMAP on marine life's biodiversity researches and activities.
