AbstractOBIS version of shrimp trawl survey and commercial bycatch sampling data from 1953-2006. Survey data are collected by stock assessment staff during annual trawl surveys. Data includes catch of commercial shrimp species that are used for in-season stock assessment analyses. Commercial bycatch data area collected by stock assessment staff and by staff of Archipelago Marine Resources who board commercial vessels during fishing activities and record catch and bycatch data. Purpose: These data are for display on the OBIS portal and associated mapping programs and for download to personal computers for ad-hoc end-user analysis.
