Features in this feature class represent the 2010 records from all animal sightings that occurred during aerial monitoring surveys for marine mammals performed from 2010-2012 in the SOCAL Range Complex.
Sighting locations occur along survey tracklines, and do not represent actual animal locations.
Sightings that occurred off the tracklines were considered opportunistic sightings made during opportunistic effort.
The 2011-12 records are registered in SOCAL Marine Mammal Aerial Monitoring 2011-2012
