GCMD DIF Support (v2.5.3)

OBIS-SEAMAP has been in great partnership with NASA Global Change Master Directory (GCMD) where the metadata of the OBIS-SEAMAP datasets are registered.

Now in the new OBIS-SEAMAP web site, it's easier to get GCMD metadata (DIF format). There are two operations to get DIF metadata.

• Obtain the inventory of datasets whose DIF metadata are available
  http://seamap.env.duke.edu/seamap2.5/utility/gcmd_metadata.php
  
• Get the DIF metadata for a specific dataset
  http://seamap.env.duke.edu/seamap2.5/utility/gcmd_metadata.php?entry_id=entry_id
  where entry_id is GCMD Entry_ID found in the inventory
  Example: For dataset seamap427:
  http://seamap.env.duke.edu/seamap2.5/utility/gcmd_metadata.php?entry_id=seamap427.
