Partnership with Marine Mammal Council launched

It is a great pleasure to announce that OBIS-SEAMAP and Russian Marine Mammal Council (MMC), led by Boris Solovyev at Institute of Ecology and Evolution of Russian Academy of Sciences, have established a collaborative partnership through which MMC facilitates submission of datasets from MMC collaborators to OBIS-SEAMAP.

This effort can be overviewed on a dedicated web page that summarizes the datasets collected through this partnership. Also thanks to Boris Solovyev, several OBIS-SEAMAP web pages including Terms of Use and FAQs are translated to Russian. These Russian pages can be accessed from the dedicated page. We expect this partnership encourages Russian researchers to share their valuable data with us and global marine science communities.
