Wider Caribbean Sea Turtle Nesting Sites - Saint Lucia

Abstract

Three species of sea turtle nest in Saint Lucia, with hawksbills and leatherbacks being the most common. The taking of eggs, nests and nesting females is prohibited and the turtle fishery is governed by seasonal closure and minimum size limits.
