Wider Caribbean Sea Turtle Nesting Sites - US States

Abstract

Four species of sea turtle nest in the United States of America, with loggerheads being the most common. Regionally significant nesting colonies of loggerheads are located on the coast of the state of Florida, where many nesting sites record more than 1000 crawls annually. Sea turtles are fully protected by law.
