Reptiles y aves del Distrito Nacional de Manejo Integrado Cabo Manglares Bajo Mira y Frontera, Pacífico colombiano - Proyecto Colombia BIO

Con el fin de evaluar la diversidad (taxonómica y funcional) de reptiles y aves, se realizaron protocolos de muestreo estandarizados para cada grupo taxonómico, para aves se realizaron caminatas libres, puntos de observación y registros auditivos y para reptiles se realizó búsqueda libre delimitada por tiempo, con muestreos principalmente diurnos por la logística de acceso a los puntos de muestreo.

Los objetivos específicos del proyecto consistió:
1. Determinar la diversidad taxonómica (alfa y beta) de reptiles y aves en diferentes
hábitats en manglares y zonas de litoral en Cabo Manglares.
2. Establecer la proporción de rasgos y grupos funcionales de reptiles y aves en
diferentes hábitats en manglares y el litoral en Cabo Manglares.
3. Determinar la relación entre variables ambientales y de los hábitats con la diversidad taxonómica y funcional de reptiles y aves en manglares y zonas de litoral en Cabo Manglares.
En total se registraron 204 registros de aves y reptiles.
