Abstract
In total, we conducted surveys for 90 days (451.20 h), of which 73 days were
land and 17 days were boat surveys, with 6 of them covering depths of 1000
m. The total effort at sea was 102.21 h with an average boat speed of 4
knots.While beaked whale presence was never recorded during the land
surveys, the species was encountered on three different dates during boat
surveys
