Abstract

Data in this dataset represent animal sightings that occurred during vessel surveys for marine mammals and sea turtles in Pearl Harbor, Hawaii. Vessel-based surveys were conducted from December 2013 to December 2014 by NAVFAC in cooperation with the Pacific Islands Fisheries Science Center. The source geodatabase was compiled by HDR under NAVFAC contract N62470-15-D-8006, task order KB11.

Survey tracklines are available as a static layer.
An aerial image of the survey area is available.

A humpback whale sighting on 2014-01-23 15:57:00 was on land (-157.944993, 21.307519) and deleted by OBIS-SEAMAP.
