Abstract
The present database is intended to serve as a catalogue for photo-identification
of bottlenose dolphins in the Bulgarian Black Sea area. It is part of a larger study
of cetaceans in the Exclusive Economic Zone (EEZ) of Bulgaria and in NATURA
2000 protected areas where the species is subject to conservation.

Purpose
Аims to provide information on population structure, seasonal migrations and
distribution patterns of bottlenose dolphins in the Bulgarian waters of the Black
sea.
